About Lifespan Lit
Lifespan Lit began as a personal passion project, rooted in healthcare, and nurtured by the love of storytelling. It continues to grow into a vibrant garden of literary treasures.
The founder, Jeannette McAdams BSN, RN, embarked on this literary adventure in her late 60s. She brings with her wealth of knowledge and compassion from a diverse healthcare background. With experience in Home Health, Hospice, Cardiac care, and a decade of travel nursing across the United States, culminating in outpatient surgery orthopedics. She has had a varied and exciting 34-year journey in nursing.
Beyond nursing, she ventured into the entrepreneurial world, consulting for healthcare startups, developing and running a caregiving service, and conducting various types of insurance exams nationwide.
Her love of writing comes from her mother who wrote children stories for her own family. Jeannette and her husband live in rural Pennsylvania with their 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren and their 2 dogs.
